Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Langhub ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

Langhub is a developer tool that integrates with GitHub to detect, translate, and manage internationalisation (i18n) strings in software projects. Features include AI-powered translation, CI/CD enforcement, translation memory, and a glossary system.

3. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it. You must not share your login credentials or allow unauthorised access to your account. Notify us immediately at hello@langhub.io if you suspect a security breach.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission

5. Billing and payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. All prices are in USD and exclusive of applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, but you may cancel at any time and retain access until the end of your current period.

6. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of all content you upload or create in Langhub, including your translation strings, glossary entries, and project configurations. You grant Langhub a limited licence to store and process this content solely to provide the Service.

The Langhub software, brand, and all related intellectual property remain the exclusive property of Langhub and its owners.

7. AI-generated translations

AI-generated translations are provided as a starting point and may not be accurate or appropriate for all contexts. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all translations before they are used in your product. Langhub makes no warranty as to the accuracy or fitness of AI-generated output.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Langhub and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time from the account settings page. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes are effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Norway.
